Desjardins General Insurance
Creative Platform, TV Creative and Broadcast Advertising, Print Advertising, Website Design, Online Advertising
I liked this campaign and it surprised me that Desjardins didn't continue with it. Desjardins used the youth market as a pilot test for their insurance product with plans to go to the mass audience if successful, they weren't committed to youth long-term. But that was okay, because we got to shoot TV spots on camera phones, float a car into the sky, implode metal, and explain to stuffy, old Quebecois executives why the ads had fake birds in them. I thought some of the copy we were using was trying too hard at times, but I think Sean liked that idea of playing it on the line.
