I did this work for 3M while at Build Interactive in 2002. I was the writer, creative director, art director, and designer on these…I even did the licensing deal with the music publishers on the use of the lyrics. I was reading Ogilvy on Advertising at the time so the ads have that Ogilvy influence: long copy, and logos in the bottom right where logos should be. They're simple, but the idea was simple. 3M loved these and they placed them in Chatelaine, House & Home, and many other national women's magazines. I remember the "Wild Thing" license cost three times the other two songs for some reason.
